Nesta Archeron has always had a temper and, since becoming High Fae, she has been unable to find her place. She cannot get past the events of the war with Hybern. Cassian is the person who makes her temper flare the most, but he also ignites a fire in her. This fire grows and grows when they are forced to spend time together. Meanwhile, the human queens have grown threatening and must be stopped before they break the fragile peace established since the last war. In order to stop them, Nesta and Cassian must face their past and present. They will have to face exterior and interior battles as they search for their place together.
