A Court of Silver Flames Review

Nesta Archeron has always had a temper and, since becoming High Fae, she has been unable to find her place. She cannot get past the events of the war with Hybern. Cassian is the person who makes her temper flare the most, but he also ignites a fire in her. This fire grows and grows when they are forced to spend time together. Meanwhile, the human queens have grown threatening and must be stopped before they break the fragile peace established since the last war. In order to stop them, Nesta and Cassian must face their past and present. They will have to face exterior and interior battles as they search for their place together.      Keep in mind that everyone has their own opinion. This review is only  my opinion , and you may have your own, different one. I would take into consideration what I say, but do not make a decision about the book solely based off of this review. Let's begin:      I was very excited for this book, even more so af...

The Hating Game Review

Charming and nice, Lucy Hutton believes these things will be enough to get her a corner office at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone loves her- well, with the exception of cold and intimidating Joshua Templeman. Not that she likes him at all. Forced to share an office for abnormally long hours, they are always playing games designed to one-up each other. Lucy refuses to let him win any of the games, but the competition reaches a new extreme when a promotion opens up. Lucy winning will make her Joshua's boss, but losing has a steep price: she must resign. At the time she needs to focus most, she begins to have steamy dreams about Joshua. After they share a kiss, Lucy begins to think she may have misunderstood Joshua this whole time. Maybe they don't hate each other. Or maybe she is being fooled while playing the biggest game of all.      Keep in mind that everyone has their own opinion. This review is only  my opinion , and you may have your own, differe...

The Cousins Review

Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah Story are cousins, but they barely know each other, and they've never even met their grandmother. Rich and reclusive, she disinherited their parents before they were born. So when they each receive a letter inviting them to work at her island resort for the summer, they're surprised... and curious. Their parents are all clear on one point- not going is not an option. This could be the opportunity to get back into Grandmother's good graces. But when the cousins arrive on the island, it's immediately clear that she has different plans for them. And the longer they stay, the more they realize how mysterious- and dark- their family's past is. The entire Story family has secrets. Whatever pulled them apart years ago isn't over- and this summer, the cousins will learn everything. (Taken from Goodreads)      Keep in mind that everyone has their own opinion. This review is only  my opinion , and you may have your own, different one. I...

The Hobbit Review

Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit, a type of creature that prefers peace, safety, and sameness in their little homes. In fact, adventures are shunned most of the time among them. Suddenly, Bilbo receives some unexpected guests- Gandalf the wizard and Thorin and his 12 dwarfs. They persuade Bilbo to become their Burglar for their journey to recover the treasure stolen from them when the dragon Smaug took over their home in the mountains. This story tells of their adventures and the finding of the magical ring that the books following this prequel (The Lord of the Rings) revolve around.       Keep in mind that everyone has their own opinion. This review is only  my opinion , and you may have your own, different one. I would take into consideration what I say, but do not make a decision about the book solely based off of this review. Let's begin:     I had never heard of this book or the books this is the prequel for until my dad showed me the...
